Bailey Barrett

Bailey’s first job in high school was as a Life Skills Coach for a young woman with a developmental disability. This experience, and young woman, altered the course of her life, and ever since she has pursued opportunities to befriend, work with and for those with IDD. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and The University of Texas at Austin with a Master of Science in Social Work with a concentration in Administration and Policy Practice. Bailey served on the Public Policy and Advocacy Committee for The Arc of Texas before moving Massachusetts and working as a Children’s Service Coordinator for the Massachusetts State Government, where she was an integral link to arranging and coordinating family support for children with IDD. Bailey returned to Texas this year will begin teaching elementary special education at Coppell ISD this fall.
