The Self-Determination Group

Established in 2014, The Self-Determination Group is a cross disability group run by and for individuals with disabilities (“PWD”).

We serve to:

• educate, advocate for, and support the concept of self-determination, and
• take actions that promote the human rights & inclusion of PWD

Join Us!

We are a membership-driven organization – meaning members make all decisions for the group. 

Membership dues are $20 and are collected annually. There are two ways to become a member:

2. Join Online – A convenience fee of $1 is added when you join online.

​Members of The SDG automatically become a member of Texas Advocates, receive discounted rates to participate in events we organize, and have voting privileges. Disabled members only have voting privileges.
